I hear the rain hitting the the roof of my little hooch.
And my thoughts drifts back to my home.
I can see my family and friends.
Sitting around the the old wooden table in the yard.

I remember the laughing, joking and the talks we had.
GOD! how I miss all of that.
Some times I can smell the food cooking on the grill.
I can almost taste the lemonade we always had.

And for a very short time I am back home.
With my family and friends all around me.
GOD! how I miss them all.
Now they begin to fade away and I am back in my hooch.

I sigh with disspair.
I ask myself "have they forgotten about me?"
I hope they know that I am still alive.
GOD! I want to go home!
